The National Police Wellbeing Outreach Service is a fleet of bespoke fitted vans, which can deploy to Police operating bases across England and Wales, offering physical, psychological and financial health checks to officers and staff. The vans are supported and staffed by Occupational Health staff or Occupational Health providers from each force area.
From today (18 Dec 2019) Police Forces from England and Wales will be able to request one of our Wellbeing Vans via a new online booking system, directly from the Oscar Kilo website.
This online system will make it easy to identify when our vans are available, when they are booked or provisionally booked by another force and will give staff the freedom to request deployments. This will make all the difference when planning events as all the information is available real time and decisions can be made instantly.
Once an online request has been made, we will be in touch and will send through all the relevant paperwork. The van booking is only confirmed once this paperwork is returned to us.
Officers and staff will continue to receive the same level of customer service that they have come to expect from the National Police Wellbeing Team and we will be on hand to answer any questions and offer support throughout the deployment.
