We are very excited to say that we will be holding the inaugural Oscar Kilo Awards at the Upbeat! 2019 Conference. These awards have been created to recognise the amazing work that has been done, and continues to be done, across UK policing when it comes to providing wellbeing support for the people who work for you.

The award categories reflect the six areas of the Blue Light Wellbeing Framework; Creating the Environment, Leadership, Absence Management, Mental Health, Personal Resilience and Protecting the Workforce.

If you have completed, or are working towards the Blue Light Wellbeing Framework and you have a project or programme that you feel is making a difference to your force, and is worthy of recognition, then let us know!

The presentation of the awards will take place at the Upbeat! conference during the evening reception on the 19th of March at the Queen’s Hotel, Leeds. If you enter a project for an award, you, or a representative must be able to attend the conference. If you haven’t already, you can book tickets via the Police Dependants Trust website.

As the awards will be presented at the PDT Upbeat! Conference, for the first year, the awards will only be open to entries from police forces, however, we don’t want others to miss out and so we will be looking to  expand entries across other services in the near future.

If you would like to apply, please download the guidance notes and application form using the buttons below.

The deadline for entries is 5pm 21st December 2018.
