THESE SESSIONS HAVE NOW TAKEN PLACE

Since the start of the pandemic we have held numerous Individual Resilience Check-ins, facilitated by Bailey and French, to help you through. These online sessions came at a time when work was changing, and whatever our roles, we were all dealing with varying amounts of fear, loss and isolation. As the national lockdown continues and many people are still experiencing isolation, the need to support our resilience is greater than ever.

People who joined our previous workshops told us they found them uplifting – they enjoyed talking and sharing with others and learning tips as to how to overcome challenges and feel more resilient.

Great news – Themed sessions are on the way!

During the discussions on these sessions it became apparent that there are common themes that are affecting us all.

To recognise these issues, the National Police Wellbeing Service has funded further themed sessions, in collaboration with Bailey & French, to offer you the opportunity to discuss these issues in more detail.

These sessions are not exclusively about the themes, conversations can be around anything that is bothering you so please don’t hesitate to join.

The themes for the sessions are as follows:

Home schooling – Wednesday 10 February at 10am – 11am

Vaccinations – Thursday 11 February at 10am – 11am

Returning to normal – Friday 19 February at 12noon – 1pm

Lockdown – Tuesday 23 February at 10am – 11am

Staying connected with others – Thursday 25 February at 10am – 11am

During these virtual workshops you will join fellow police officers and staff from across the UK to have meaningful communication, and recognise that we may feel the same or similarly as each other.

You will have the opportunity to share your experience and defuse through discussion, with peers who you may or may not know. The session is a whole group discussion led by Bailey and French, with individuals having the opportunity to share their experiences, if they feel comfortable using the chat function. People can leave the session feeling uplifted in facing this lockdown and beyond with optimism and resilience.

How do I join?

The Individual Resilience Check-ins are open to everyone across UK forces. You can register for each event using the appropriate button below.
