Individual resilience is a bedrock for leaders to enable them to develop resilient teams and organisations.
Research done by the Police Federation and the Superintendents’ Association tells us that, as with people at all levels, individuals at senior leadership level have challenges around individual resilience.
As a result, we have developed a free, one-day individual resilience workshop for senior leaders.
The workshop is delivered by Russ Magnall, a qualified executive coach and former police officer with experience of delivering resilience training to senior leaders both within and outside of policing. The day covers a range of practical tactics for managing personal resilience and is delivered in a style which includes storytelling, coaching and practical exercises.
The workshop is available at the following dates and venues:
- Monday 9 March – Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham
- Tuesday 10 March – The Principal Hotel, York
- Thursday 12 March – The Kia Oval, London – SOLD OUT
Feedback from senior leaders has highlighted that working in partnership across organisations on these issues may be of benefit, and so we are also allocating places on these individual resilience sessions for senior colleagues in different Police Forces, in the Fire & Rescue Service, and in the Ambulance Service, to allow for shared learning.
You can book places on the free, one-day individual resilience workshop for senior leaders by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org – there are limited places for each session, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
