National Police federation have produced a ‘first steps’ guidance booklet for officers about where to go for help and the best ways to offer support to staff.

With longer hours, fewer resources and the nature of the police role, the federation recognise the pressure that can be put on officers to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle – including passing the fitness test.
