MindFit Cop is an eight week online mindfulness course. Each week, participants will receive a 30 minute lesson to complete which usually incorporates a daily task to help build and embed a mindfulness practice. You can sign up on this website.
How it works
We know policing is hugely demanding. As officers and staff, we frequently experience things and are exposed to traumas that most people will never experience. Mindfulness training offers us tools to help deal with these pressures and with the reality of policing today.
Anyone can sign up for the MindFit Cop course via this website and can complete the lessons on a phone, tablet, or computer. It’s easy to follow and in as little as eight weeks, participants will feel the many benefits that Mindfulness has to offer. This is an eight-week online course consisting of a lesson a week.
Each lesson builds upon the previous one and participants will learn how they can make cognitive changes with lasting effects. Evidence shows that courses like this are the most successful at teaching people about the positive differences that mindfulness can make.
